Design And Application of Localized & Grouped Latin Squares And Cubes
To Linear Model Analysis

The currently available Latin squares and Latin cubes are designed to treat the traditional Latin square model and Latin cube model, with which the analysis results are usually far less than what we wish to obtain. Under similar sampling cost and size of the traditional Latin Squares and Latin cubes, new designs named Localized Latin Squares (and Cubes ) and Grouped Latin Squares (and Cubes) are to be presented, without aid of computer simulation, where the outcomes of the two new designs will provide the required data to do the analysis of traditional Latin square / Latin Cube models, and in addition, with the same data, to apply various linear models, for much more useful analysis to obtain for more extensive results. In this talk, a practical example shall be given to illustrate the construction procedure for setting up the Localized Latin Square /Cube and the Grouped Latin Square / Cube, and to explain how to use Latin Square (Cube) Model and the proper Linear models to do the desired extensive analysis. Of particular interest in mathematics, it will be shown that such example of new Latin Cube design, which sustains both properties of localization and grouping in the cube will show to us a discrete tree trunk structure.
